The Young Family Cemetery was first used to bury the children of James Young that predeceased him and the land was formally donated in 1874. The original donation allows the use of the land for a family grave yard and was accepted by the heirs of said James Young Sr.
The next annual meeting will be held on October 31, 2010. The meeting will be held at the Plains Presbyterian Church at 3:00 p.m.
